Hello All,
I have been away for a while being busy with work and all and I came back to do a flight in my Baron and noticed that all the chrome on the plane is gone.
There used to be chrome on the Prop cones and that is just a dull grey now.
I thought it was maybe just that plane but I also have the B-29 which is ALL chrome and its just a dull grey too.
I tried playing with my video card settings to see if that was it but nothings working...
Any ideas?

Check you have added the following lines to your diplay.cfg file at the end of the GeForce 2 section:
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420
[000010DE:00000172]
DriverValidate2=1
Then check you have ticked the reflections check box.
That should fix it.

A little chrome polish and some elbow grease is the best way to remove the oxidation. Shame on you for ignoring her that long.
Probably left her sittin out in the rain too, didn't ya?

I had a Geforce2 but I never had the lost Chrome problem. Funny... ???
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

My old GF2 was a pain, once I had to completely re-install FS after adding new drivers to get it to work properly with chrome effects! No reason why!!!!!!!!!
