Greetings,

Here's a new one for me. I hit "G" for gears-up on a 777 (Meljet repaint) and only the nose gear retracts. Using the manual lever in the cockpit also unsuccessful. Any theories? Thanks.

I am not sure.... but I ran into this bug a couple of times before..... try pressing "p" to pause and then retract or lower the gear... wait for it to finish doing so and press "p" aain....
I hopw that works....

I had the same problem and I figured out that there are two sets of rear gears. With a certain (don't know wich)
assignment you can retract and extend that set of gears too.

SmileyCheck the readme file that came with the plane. Sometimes there are special instructions on how to use certain features with different key assignments. You could also check the assignments in the key assignments of Fs2002 to make sure the gear are assigned to the "G" key.

If all else fails, contact Mel, directly.
He's really good about answering questions and dealing with problems.

Good guy!

Fish-You seem to be semi-familiar with Meljet....question:

I downloaded the newest (I think) release of his 777 package last night, and the darn thing had a default Cessna panel.  lol  Did I do something wrong or is that the way it's designed?

THat is when the panel is aliased to something you don't have. Most likey you have FS standard? So when you don't have the panel, FS loads the default Cessna panel.

You may have already checked this, but check what the panel.cfg is aliased to? It should be:

[fltsim]
alias=b777_300\panel

If so, check the b777_300\panel folder, and see if you've actually got the Cessna panel in there instead of the 777  Lips Sealed

I D/L'd the plain white Meljet, 777 and bought the "Fantasy Flight" paint scheme for it, a while back.

If I remember right, it came with it's own panel and sound.

???
