I flew with F$2000. For that I didn't have to chat with ATC. When I was flying Id go shopping and stuff.
BTW it was a trip from Amsterdam to New-York (8,5hours in a 777-300)

I think my favorite place to fly is in the Carribean.  Lots of nice scenery, and not exactly flat.  Smiley

In fact, I think I'm going to go download a Puerto Rico scenery I found a few days ago and try it out now!  Grin

It's got to be the most mind-numbing, boring job on earth...

Actually, Fozzer....when I worked for Continental, one of my good friends was the Second Officer on the DC-10, and he told me once that the most amazing sight in the world is when you're crossing the North Atlantic, seeing nothing but water for hours, and all of a sudden an entirely new continent begins to appear before your eyes.

When put that way, he made it sound sorta fun!

Wow, that kinda inspires you to jump in a plane and fly across the Atlantic.   Grin  That would be an amazing sight.

Water for hours is boring as it gets.   Sad
And for that matter, seeing a new continent isn't really all that cool since from the air they pretty much all look the same.  Unless paved with mountains.
Heck, Haiti is one of the most inviting islands from the air, but Ill bet your screaming for home the second you land.
Many of the Carribbean islands have pretty cool approaches though.  Check out St. Maarten, VI.  The runway is about 100 feet off the beach.
