I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Why does the messages like "Press E to start engine " stop to appear on the screen. I have reinstalled CFS a while back and all was fine , but now see no messages ???. Must I change something in CFG file ?
Please help.

On the task bar click views or options
and there is a list of what is displayed

I have found it
, In Combat CFG file under [Situational Options] Combat status messages= 1, if it is 0 no messages , change it to 1 and messages shows.

I think TJ's suggestion will do the same thing. The onscreen text is toggled with the F key. Combatfs.cfg is updated with some current settings when you exit the sim.
