Hey i was just wondering what everyone thinks about the multiplayer matchmaking system, cause i dont like it, i used to love playin CFS2 on the zone it seemed like alot more people played there. When i go into multiplayer on CFS3 there is about 6 games at the most.

Just Wondering what everyone else thinks about it?

I mean do u think the zone would be a much better place for it?

I bought Age of Mythology aswell and was hoping for multiplayer on the Zone but no luck there either

I don't like it cause I just can't seem to join a game.   Smiley  But single play is still a lot of fun.

I've found the multiplayer option a little frustrating....but once I'm connected It seems to be quite fun.......I usually play in dogfights with realism settings between 35- 60%...

I think it's great with a bunch of Spit's wailling away at each other....the action can be quite intense at times..

I only wish there was some kind of lobby set up as so you could chat to fellow pilots and agree on settings and stuff..

I try to play  online 4-5 times a week..I play under the tag name's of "Pudgeman33" or "Hand_of_Doom"  maybe we see u in the not so friendly sky's... hehe.... other than that im playing single player

Peace

Is there any way we could get microsoft or some gaming site to put a lobby for this game?

Like the zone, gamespy, or even if MS make another update they could put a built in lobby so we can chat.

Multiplayer system sucks... Undecided  There aren't many servers I can join, don't know why not. If I can join one, its always fun, pumpin adrenaline.

I think it was something to do with who has the patch and doesn't.  I think I saw that somewhere...

Well, I give up.....

After four months of trying to get the multiplayer game running satisfactorily, I've had enough.

I can only connect to the servers once in a "blue moon".

Today was the last straw.  I was in a game, which ended so the host could restart, and when I returned to the Server list, the list came up empty again!  Consequently, I could not rejoin the game.

I know there were about eight games running at the time, but the only thing that came up on the list is a message indicating that the game is attempting to retrieve the list of games.

From experience I know that, when I get this message for more than five seconds, I'm never going to get a list of games.

The game is great fun when I get a connection, but I only get a connection once every couple of days, despite repeated attempts.

This would probably have been my favourite multiplayer game, if it would work "on demand" (as designed).  Instead, I'll move on to something else.

I wouldn't recommend anyone spend the $100 AU I paid for the game, if a muliplayer flight sim is what they are looking for.

I've never had a problem logging onto MP games unless the person hosting the game doesn't specify in the game title that he/she doesn't run the patch. Then i get the incompatability screen.
As an aside, on my dads computer we have not been able to make the MP create account run! Don't know why, can't finger it out.
Any help  would be appreciated!

I spent a few hours trying to get an MP account set up on my dads machine. Reloaded CFS3, the patch, uninstalled his firewall, etc.
What finally got it to work was going into internet options and changing his home page! Changed it to drudgereport.com. same as mine. AND IT NOW WORKS!
Go figure. Grin Cheesy Wink Smiley
