Hello.
I bought this sim maybe 2 months ago but i started fly this sim more serius yesterday, actually when i first bought the game i dident really like to fly civilian planes i preffered military sims but yesterday when i tried the flight school i fell in love with this game its so fantastic so im really happy i got the game the only thing i regret is that iu dident got it earlier, This is also my first time on this forum:)

I completed the flight school and got my certificate in the second try  Cheesy  but now when i moved on to learn the VOR guidance  i got stucked i must been doing something wrong but i dont know what, there is 2 things that happend.
1st  the plane keep on flying straight and leveled after i tuned the vor and i dont get any more instruktions from Rod and after 15-20 minutes i end the flight
or the plane start to do a left turn and fly in cirkles and i lost contact with Rod.

I have another question also:) since i lack in english i wonder if i can find the instruktions that Rod gives in the flight school in paper so i can print it out cause sometimes i dont really understand what he says or he gives me to mutch instruktions at same time and it ends up with that i forgot some stuff that he said.

Btw since i started flying this game (yesterday Cheesy) I got really intrested to learn to fly this big airliners and maybe go to my local gamestore and by some payware planes but i dont know if it will be compatibel with fs2004? and i also thought it maybe its better to wait until fs2004 is out since its only a few weeks from now?

Hi Hades, welcome to SimV. On the whole the lessons in FS2002 are not brilliant, if you want to learn the art of FS navigation go to http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/ they explain everything there.
I'm not sure exactly when FS2004 is coming out (there have been several dates suggested), but it is probably worth the wait. Most 2002 aircraft will be compatible in 2004, but I'd have a look at the amazing selection of freeware aircraft we have here before parting with any money.

Happy flying.

The navaid based lessons are buggy, just learn by trying, or use a decent route planner like FSNavigator

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here
