Hello everyone. I think everyone starts with FS and then gets interest in other things. I have taken interest in Scenery, but i don't want to get in too deep making cities or anything. I want to make airfields.
My question is: What programs out there ( freeware) are useful fo rmaking scenery?
Thanks.

Well to do scenery get FSSC latest version (freeware, at avsim) The tutorials it includes are good enough to show you how its done
and best of all its very easy. To create some custom APIs or macros get EOD here at SimV and again its pretty easy but you gotta read the manual. But if you wanna get to some serious pro design you can download Gmax and start doin scenery with that. But its
much
harder and there no tutes for gmax scenery design. I deeply suggest FSSC and EOD.....gmax for the pros..

I appreciate the reply, I will get to it as soon possible, it was like an hour to get to this link so i am going to wait until tomorrow maybe the speed will be a little better. As for GMAX, i am not going to try it, but how can you download it?> Doesn't it come exclusively for PRO?
Here goes another hour posting this

An older version of Gmax does come with FS2002Pro, but you can download it at
discreet.com/products/gmax
You must have FS2002 Pro which includes the gamepack. FSSC is definetely the best way to go with airport and scenery design. Its simple and fast to make airports or scenery with FSSC, and there lots of macros here at SimV to make some nice scenery.
