A/K/A CPT.RKG_Fuelstat.gau.

This is the fuel consumption gauge used in FSTipster's RTW Beech Baron panel.  You may have noticed that:

1. There is no airspeed readout, and

2. There is a bug in the TTE readings so that 2:03 would look like 2:_3.

I discussed this with Tipster when he was designing the panel and he said there was nothing he could do about it - it's a bug in the gauge.

I have also found that the author is Robert K. Guy, but I have not yet found an email address or an updated gauge (mine is dated 01/06/03).

Has anyone found a fix or other information?

Love that gauge. But the real name of it is RKG.fuelstat.ga.    Don't know where the CPT came from.  Wink   Check to see how big that gauge is. Should be 578 or so kbs.  This is actually several gauges in one and if you don't have the right one in there, it will not display all the info.

I found that in this main ga. are round or square fuelstat gauges, some for FS98 and some for CFS2, FS2k2. These also work in FS2k2. Then they are broken down farther into whether it is a prop acft. or a jet.

If you had CFGEdit, then this would be easily fixed. For now I will give you two entries for a prop acft.

This is for a round gauge.

RKG_fuelstat!FuelStatus_recip,  439,138,49

Square gauge.

RKG_fuelstat!FuelStatusSq_recip,  116,279,110,101

Numbers at the end are positioning and size, so insert the ones that your ga. shows in the panel cfg. AND, of course, you will have to add the CPT in front of the gauge name. See if this doesn't get your ga. to display right. Provided you are trying it in a prop acft.

Need anymore help, post here. Tried to find where I got the gauge from. It came with a good set of intructions for panel designers.  Good luck.

I worked around #1 by getting a different gauge (RKG_speed.gau at nonodes). This is the one on the bottom.

No workaround for #2.  I dl'd the latest version at nonodes.  It's the one on top.  I tried to write to the author but my mail came back "box full".
