Sure, it's the BAe harrier, but the americans use the AV-8, nearly the same aircraft, but with different ejection seat and some cockpit modifications.

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Nearly the same ?.....as in similar looks ?....
This is a next generation totally changed A/C  .............
You can find a little info on the P-1127, Kestrel, Harrier, and AV-8B , here.........http://www.vectorsite.net/avav8.html

This is a very old design, as I remember it being shown in the Observers Book of Aircraft when I was a kid.....it has gone a little further than the Shorts SC-1 (VTOL)which was also being tested at that time.....

Well said Rifleman, you beat me to it. It was us Brits that developed the worlds first V/STOL aircraft as far back as 1957 when Bristol (now Rolls Royce) designed the Pegasus engine and Hawker Aircraft (now BAE Systems) developed an aircraft to put it in, the P.1127.

Well, we're understandably proud of the Harrier.  Wink
It was a great achievement. Not much else to be proud of these days. Patriotism is now a dirty word.  Roll Eyes

Knew someone would ask sooner or later. But I've changed it to the Thunderbirds Air Demo Squadron, I think what it says below spells it out. In order to join you need the LAGO FS Falcon as its the only one with a good Thunderbirds paint scheme, air file, model, etc. Also it shows dedication to the unit if you get it. I'm going to start recruiting pilots once FS2k4 is released, and LOMAC.

Commander Thunderbirds Virtual Air Demonstration Squadron

yeah.with new avionics ,the TSR 2 could even today be superior to the F-111 or the Tornado.

Well the conservatives considered bringing it back in the eighties when the MRCA project (tornado nowadays) ran into snags but the europeans got a bit upset so no tsr.2.

And as regards to dear old tony........ don't get me started Undecided
