It is 6am and Swiss Air is clear for taxi to the active.

...

The sun rises as we are cleared for take off.
...

Take off is smooth as we start our turn.

...

We have a clear view of the Eiffel Tower as we leave "The City of Love".

...

The huge jet thrusts upward as we start our ascent.

...

Screaming along at 36,000ft, we leave a vapor trail behind.

...

On approach and cleared to land.

...

Touchdown.

...

I was missing my heavies!!!  Cry    Cry   LOL

Dave, nice shot, but some are kinda dark considering the sun is so high above the horizon......but then, Maybe I should take off my dark sunglasses for viewing these shots.....The sun is up at the same height here now.........

Thanks Rifleman. I am usually always one for Daylight shots  myself.  8)     8)
........the darker ones are not as impressive to me either. Still, it was a nice flight and it was hard to find some "bright" pics out of the 50 or so I shot along this trip!   Wink

At least you didn't have to break out your "night vision" scope!!

this is it...this is what this sim is made for: flying a heavy boeing from airport to airport! very nice shots...i see you had  alot of fun during the approach and landing...and you felt a little bit of satisfaction when this big metal bird sets her legs on the ground!  Cry and guess what...when we got FS2004, these flights will be twice as fun as they are now...and believe me they are fun!!!  Wink
