I'm an American living in San Diego, CA. I was born in Manila, Philippines. My wife is an American of German descent. I like pizza, fried chicken, mash potato and gravy, chopsuey, boiled tomatoes, saurkraut, sushi, fried rice, taco, meatloaf, borst, hamburger, French fries and all that good American stuff.
Ciao ya'll.

Ken...
..!
..what do you think is the chance of me converting all the youngsters on the Forum to get themselves into the kitchen to prepare and cook some lovely meals themselves, instead of mobile-phoning* the nearest "Pizza-Hut" for some junk-food....?

A very enticing image for many, Fozzer.
Although, I'm not one who can eat a large meal in one sitting. I'm more of a 4 or 5 small meals per day. I'm told it's a better way to eat. But there are so many opinions about this sort of thing, who knows?..........
I'm inclined to take your suggestion that the young blokes get into the kitchen, seriously.
Apart from the obvious benefit in not eating fast food crap, there is also the benefit of being able to put together a good meal for yourself and others.
My father taught all of us to cook (in a basic 'meat and 2 veg' way) when we were as young as 10 or so.
It stood me in good stead over the years. I taught all my kids the same thing.
I can't belive it, and never have been able to, when over the years I have come across blokes who are literally unable to make a cup of coffee, let alone feed themselves.
It's a skill that every man should have in the basic sense, regardless of whether he is single, married, young, old or whatever.
PS. Pardon me if I'm wrong, but that pie looks suspiciously like a 'packet' job..................lol

Hi Bren...!
Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, and Supper in that order for me..
...and the bigger each meal is the better...
...!
You may be surprised to know that each day in my local super-market there are more men, like me, selectively shopping for food every day than there are women.
Ask a man for a food tip and he will give you a long explanation...
...!
Ask a woman for the same thing and you will get a blank expression...
...!
Just ask me who make the best Chefs...
...LOL...!
MMMMmmmmm-Men...
...!
Cheers Bren...

P.S. 10/10 for observation....
...!
The Chicken and mushroom was a pop-in-the-oven-one for 30-minutes...(I hadn't got any chicken bits to make my own)..
...!
But...
I do make my own meat or fruit, pastry pies....
...all done in my lovely gas oven.... 8)...!
...and you should see my Amazing Casseroles...food for the Gods...
...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!
