I saw somewhere here that Direct X 9.0b is available. However I just went to the Microsoft site and could only find the "a" version.
Is the "b" version available?
Thanks.

I'm gonna make a guess that if you didn't find it at Microsofts site, then it was probably a rumor, or maybe it is coming soon.

I'm pretty sure the 9.0a version is the latest, and maybe someone mis-named it to 9b in confusion.
MS sort of owns it now so any release would be on their site.

Thanks for the replies.
Yeah.... that is kinda' what I figured. But sometimes there are things "tucked" away on websites that don;t show up under the typical search.
I also wonder if the mention I saw was actually old and was refering to DX 9 ....BETA..... being finally released?
Anyway...... I have the latest 9.0a already. For my issues...it apparently does not work
.
Thanks.

I heard that 9b was for windows 98 only because 9a was too buggy on it, yet runs fine on XP.
