I either want to get a DVD burner or a premium video card, but cna't decide which.  Obviously, a video card would be better for FS2004, but a DVD burner would be good too in that I could back up my entire game in one shot, download every plane zip I have, and still have room to spare.  So, what to do?

??? ??? ???

You're comparing apples with oranges. Having a DVD Burner or not will not affect your video. On the other hand an improved video will not allow you to store files. If you have the money, buy both. If you only have the money for one, buy a new improved video. CD Burners are now relatively cheap.

it depends on what you have now. if you've got a bad video card (geforce 1 or less),go for the video card. if you've got no burner yet,go for the burner.

I bought CFS3 truly believing I wouldn't have all the hassles everyone seemed to be experiencing.

I ate humble pie!

I have a new computer!

I'm not brave enough to try CFS3 on the new computer!
