I'm going to have to call it a draw with Green Day and Blink 182.  Generic, I know, but hey, it's got a good beat, it's easy to dance to...I'll give it an 8.

Hi Maccers....
..go for the "Squire" version of the genuine Fender Stratocaster....
It's a fraction of the cost, looks EXACTLY the same and plays the same.... 8)...!
The only difference is in the pick-ups, but no-one notices that anyway.... Wink...!
You, Craig, and me must form a trio sometime... Grin...!
...now that really would terrify the neighbours ... Shocked...!

Cheers mate... Grin...!
Paul.

Have fun with the guitar.... Grin...!
(Let us know how you get on with it)... Wink...!

Actually, I've set my sights on a Yamaha RGX (121SL). For the following reasons
1) Comes with tuition book Smiley cos its made as an entry level heavy metal guitar.
2) Comes in a left handed model (Left handed Fender Squires don't actualy exist, only strat's and telecasters Undecided)
3) Pickups, I've done my research, and this has two humbuckers and a single coil, which is what im looking for in a heavy sounding axe.
4) It comes in
black
. Just the way i like my stuff 8)
Would be nice to jam with the pair of you, but maybe with some classic rock, semi-indy and thrash metal styles in the same room, we might just make a big enough racket to kill the guys next door! Grin lol
