Most of the people here seems to live in the West, so I figured it might be an interesting question.

I've never been on a Russian aircraft.

Not only been on, but jumped out of, and logged some 'unofficial' stick time at the local parachute club! All on my favourite flying junk pile the AN-2!

AN-2 Colt...which will probably be the plane of choice for most "Yes" answers. Smiley

lol ya, ive had the priviledge to fly on an AN2, AN27, and a MI16 Grin i also sat in the cockpit of a Yak 15(aerobatic plane, not sure of designation)i did this without permission Roll Eyes there was and i thing still is a Yak 15 dumped in N07 (Lincoln Park N.J.) it hasnt move for like 3 years or so but is alomst perfect....dunno about the condition of the engine but it looked good.

yah if i was in an russian plane in the air i would probably jump too. . .never been in one in the air (that i am aware of) pretty sure i have been in a couple on the ground

did MALEV (hungarian airline) already have western airplanes in 1993/4 ???
if not ,i probably flew with a Tu-134...
does "visited one in a museum" also count ??

They were still flying the 134s at that time Bjorn, so yup you've been there and done that. They started buying Boeings in '96 I think. They still have 2 134s in service (but I've never managed to get a flight on one) Sad
