Hey guys,
         Alot of mod jets for cfs2 will fly for awhile on A/P
& then the AP turns off & you can't use the gear or flaps to land, nothing works.
         one is the F15C Eagle
   any ideas ?

I have noticed that one of the F-15s on offer is a wee bit faulty all around - you know what I mean. I haven't actually come across your problem but I'm not saying that it's just your computer's fault. Which other aircraft does it happen to you in?

I had that problem at one time, & scratched my head so much over it that I started going bald!. Thanks to Gnoopey I found the solution to this very perplexing problem.

The problem usually appears in FS2k & FS2K2 aircraft brought over to CFS2..

Simply insert these lines into the aircraft CFG file:

[Electrical]
max_battery_voltage=14
generator_alternator_voltage=28
max_generatoralternator_amps=160
electric_always_available=1

For those of you who are perfectionists, you can research the actual values for the aircraft of your choice.

I haven't had any of those AP & landing gear problems since copying these lines into the acft's cfg files.
