Hey guys!

I have a problem that maybe you can help with. I am using AOL Internet browser and as an ISP. The problem I have is that when i download a file it doesn't come out in a zipped folder. I select zipped when i choose where to download to, but it still doesn't come out zipped. I an extract anything because it is not zipped. It is just like one of those programs that the computer can't recognize  the program. Please help!! ??? Tongue

Go to the Essential Utilities page here at SimV. Download WinZip and install it. If you don't have this utility, your computer won't recognize the file and you'll get the error you're seeing. It's just the best file compressor/decompressor available. (And free, too!)

Also, what might help is first minimize your AOL browser and click the "Blue E" on your desk top. That'll open MS Internet Explorer. Simply download your files using it instead of the AOL Browser.
But get WinZip first, and you should be OK.

Hope this helps.  Wink

Also try using Internet Explorer. AOL is probably the worst browser on the planet. Most sites & scripts are built for Internet Explorer because it is by far the most widely used.
