The best way to go is to find a Cheap Atlas
Walmart has a good one of the USA for
$5.00, but you need to ask someone there for
the "Walmart road atlas" A  world atlas at a
book store is about $10.00 Most of the maps
have long. and lat's on them and with some
simple tools, protractor, compass[dividers]
and a ruler, you can do a fair job of finding
your way around this old world, a little geometry
will help and most airports and famous places are
on the maps!!

Hope this helps you
