Thanks for the tips guys.Bought a new fan for the CPU,but its still running higher than id like ,reduced the core voltage to 100mzh should be 133 mzh .Dont like reducing the voltage , though its an AMD xp 2000+,id like full capacity.
When I run the cpu at 133mhz the temp goes up to about 60 to 64 ect and i get problems, like i say just bought a new fan which should be good for a 3000 cpu .will try cleaning the damm thing and se what happens.Cheers guys any more advice would be gratful.
That's better. I think that should be ok, still a little hot though. My Duron has a masive fan on it and it runs about 37-45C. AMD processors do tend to run hot. Just one last question. What kind of case are you using. Is it one with a side or back fan or does it just have vents in the side. Mine is the latter, an old PentiumII case.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

Me again , the case is aliumium 1 side fan which extracts and another at the back also extracts ,its now 51C at reduced voltage, and the cpu fan 3 in total.
Whats this about eplosions, sorry temp was 93C not farenheight,as soon as I increase the voltage to its full capacity, the temp increases, should I try turning the side fan round so it blows air in instead of out?
Temps are according to AIDA, maybe I should throw it in the fridge for a while Eh.Can anyone suggest a better fan as I will want to upgrade the CPU to something bigger depending on my budget.
