Drawing failed (Read 103 times)

Every time i try to open a texture bitmap i get the message "drawing failed". Is there a way to open these bitmap's.

I think you have to use something like Paint Shop Pro to open the textures.

You have to convert them into 24-bit (or less) format before you can display them outside of the sim.

There are several tools to do this including imagetool which comes as part of the package with Pro edition.

You need a program called DXTbmp, its freeware, but I can't remember where to find it. Have a look around in the aircraft repainting forum.
