I've used FS 2002 for about 15-18 months now on my new computer.  The computer is a Compaq Presario, P4 @ 1.7, 512MB of Ram and a 60 Gig hard drive with only 25% usage. 

FS 2002 ran great (even with all of the add on aircraft) up until about 3 weeks ago I started getting lag (freezing) every so often for a split second.  Needless to say, the lag has grown in size and frequency.  The lag is now about 5-10 seconds every 5-8 minutes or during a quick manuver.

I've tried defragging, disk cleanup, restarting, uninstalling with a re-install, added a RAM clearing line to the Registry, limiting features on WinXP, Clean Boot, Downloaded DirectX 9.0 and even a couple of quick prayers.  Nothing has worked!!!

Does anybody have any other ides???
