You'll only see crash damage if the plane itself has textures that support it. Most add-on aircraft don't - designers rarely consider it worth the time required to produce them.

I had the same problem, there is a way to turn on crash damage manually. Try doing a search on this forum. Also try playing around with Crashback2, it may just not be set up properly. Also like Tipster mentioned, not all planes have crash damange, however all default aircraft (except ai planes) have crash textures.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. Just add "visual_damage=1" to your aircraft.cfg.

Which is why I've never really understood why anyone bothers producing a tool to do it... lol

i also didn't see any huge fireballs when i crashed Sad

what i found is that i could see some visual damage if i didn't completely destroyed the plane Tongue

i managed to get the Bell JetRanger to loose its tail rotor and catch on fire, but only if i didn't crash it hard on the ground Roll Eyes
