I noticed that ATIS at Darwin Int'l, Australia (YPDN) is on a frequency too low for the COM's.  It is listed as 112.6 MHz. However, Com only goes to 118.  VOR's go from there to 108.  I tried tuning it on the VOR and hitting IDENT but all I got was beeping morse from the VOR at the airport, which coincidentally is also 112.6.  Also, with the auto-tuning option that apppears in the ATC box, there is no ATIS option.

Am I missing something here? Does anyone know how to fix this?

That's the point--you can't get it because the ATIS is on a VOR frequency.  The Com's can't go that low.  Isn't there any way to edit airport data to change the ATIS freq?

go get AFCAD (the newest one) then you can change them to whatever you want as long as fs2002 can read them

According to ENROUTE SUPPLEMENT AUSTRALIA (ERSA) this 112.6 is the correct frequency. Nav stations are voice capable.

IRL on suitably equipped VORs that are located at airfields (I think from memory Biggin Hill is one) you receive the ATIS recording within a certain distance when tuned on the VOR frq. It's very useful as you get the rwy, weather and QFE for landing without having to call Approach etc which is probably busy because of the nature of the airfield.

I doubt whether FS can do this though which is why it's at an impossible frq.
