Hello All,

If you go into the View Options there is a option deselect "Gradual Transition".
What this does it make it switch instantly to what ever angle you view your plane from the SPOT view.

It also helps when you are making fast turns in a fighter because it always stays right behind the plane and does not lag in catching up.

The question is though...when I deselect that "Gradual Transition", it will not stay that way. If I start a new flight it will default back to Gradual and then I have to go into the view options and deselect that.

If there a way to make it default to NOT gradually transition between views?

Thanks in advance!

Only by saving the flight. The parameter gets saved with it so that when you re-load it, it's still de-selected.

There must be an entry that can be added to do it in one of the .cfg files but if there is, I've never come across anyone who knows what it is.

one thing i find mostly annoying is that whenever i select a new plane, the spot camera always seems to be miles far from the plane

so i have to go to view options screen and type the distance i want it to be

i wish there was a keyboard command to do that Tongue

Have you tried just using your '-' and '+' keys to zoom in and out?
