I was just wondering if any of you have this program. I have it but I deleted it because it takes over a gig for a full install and the add-ons you can get from train-sim.com are great but HUGE in size. When I get a bigger HD, I will reinstall it.
Just wonder what you all thought of it

I have it, but don't use it much these days. I love steam trains and added loads of British steam loco's but I bo get a bit bored with it after a while. It looks nice but lacks the freedom of flight sims.
Until I can get round to building a model railway though  this will have to do!

I agree with all above. It was interesting at first, but after riding all the rails, the only thing to look foward to were the deer running off the tracks!!! LOL

I got fed-up with going up and down the same bit of track and wishing I could turn off and visit the countryside.... Cry...!
...It's probably more exciting than "Fly Fishing simulator" tho'.... ???....!

I'm waiting for "Cindy simulator" to come out now, (the adult version)... Tongue...!

in that case, I guess the reason why I don't like it is because a major railroad company murdered a cousin of mine because her family wouldn't sell their property to the railroad. Of course, that was a long time ago, but it still did happen Grin

If you don't believe that they murdered my cousin, go look in your history book Wink

I have it and got bored of it after a while. It's still on my system but I never play it. I found it was too short. For the extensive rail network that North America has, only two routes was not enough. They should have done a coast to coast route of either the US or Canada.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. After the railroads killed my cousin, the railroad companies paid dearly for what they did because her sons became outlaws and constantly attacked and harassed the railroad companies Grin

You all may think i'm kidding, but a railroad company really did murder a cousin of mine for refusing to sell property to them. I forget her name, but I remember her son's name. His name was Jesse James Grin

Hi Fozzer,

You're really getting me off subject...! Grin

Have you ever heard people refer to America as the 'Melting Pot'? My family history is a classic example of just that.

The Esselbach family emigrated from Germany in the late 1860s. They had a son in 1973 who married a Swedish emigrant. Their son is my Grandfather. His wife's (my Grandmother) family history isn't as simple. Her family is mostly Dutch, and has been in America for a long time. I don't know how long but I do know I have ancestors on that side of the family who fought in the Revolutionary war, war of 1812, Civil war, & spanish and mexican war.

This is all on my dad's side of the family.

We don't know much about my mom's family history. Her ancestors have been in America for a long time, before the revolutionary war. We don't know much about who or where they came from, but we do know there are French roots way back. All my outlaw relatives are on her side of the family Grin

So there you have it, atleast a little. There is a lot to my family history. I have an aunt who traced our Family all the way back to the year 70 A.D, so there's quite a bit and I won't be going into detail now. Wink

So even though I'm mostly of German, & English descent, our family traces it's roots all over Europe.
