I'm new to this! please be patient.  I recently downloaded a Dash Prop from simviation's newest files.  I folloewd the instructions and unziped it and put the aircraft and guages into the relevent folders. but it did not show up when in the game.  Any easy to follow hints?

this may be a stupid suggestion but has caught me a few times. but have you made sure there isnt a sub folder of the plane inside another folder of it with same name ie the main folder could be called dash8 then open that and you get the gauges folder and another saying say plane then if you open the plane it has another one saying plane
with plane being the name of said aircraft
sorry if that made no sense

Mark, have you tried following our instructions? The designers often give wrong info in their files & you won't go wrong by understanding the simple principles that make it all work:
The example given by y2craigie is also covered..

It did make sense.  After I unziped the file I just moved the two folders marked aircraft and guages without looking in them first.  thanks.

Hi Mark.....!
Craigie is right on his suggestion, I've been caught out on that one in the past...(Not any more).... Wink...!
...Also...
When you go into the drop-down "Select Aircraft" menu in the game scroll up to "Any", this will then list ALL the planes in your hangar.
Give that a try...!

Cheers mate..
