So, there's is the choices...

I'm going to make a great Hurricane for CFS3.  I don't care what gMax thinks of me...LOL... Wink

Personally, I think a Mk.IIC is probably the best to go for...but it's to everyone else... Smiley

Spread the word on other forums that this poll is going on, please.  I want the most people possible to vote. Cheesy  I've set it so guests can vote, so that's not a problem.

Well I tried to explain what each was.  The Sea Hurricane has a tailhook...the Mk.IV has a four 40mm cannons...the Mk.I has only two wooden unvariable pitch propellors and the Mk.IIC has machine guns and cannons.

Woody, I don't think pilots liked the lack of cannons on the Mk.IIB...it would get frustating, pumping a Ju88 full of lead for a full 5 second burst and nothing happening, wouldn't it? Grin  That's why most had there guns reset for 300 feet, rather than the allowed 600 feet. Wink Smiley  Sure you already knew that, though...

Well I love 12 .303mg's. Also I realise the ineffectiveness of machine guns. Thats why I get very close before letting rip.

Oh and pilots had the guns zeroed at 250 feet not 300. At that range the rifle caliber guns were more than effective. Especially if there were 12 of them closely packed together. At least you get a ton of ammo with them. the MkIIC only had about 400 rounds. Thats even more frustrating.

is there any chance that you could make a P-40N or a E model warhawk for CFS3 in late '41 USAAC insignia, or you could just do  a blank one and i'll paint it, if you tell me where to find the program that makes textures.

thanx for helping out. Grin

I know about that P-40 at sim-outhouse, but the problem is that the wings/nose become see through, when you get too close on the zoom, thats why I asked for someone to make another P-40N warhawk, either a texture or blank, and telll me how to make a texture of my own. Grin

hey Whitey

how about making my personal favourite a P-40N warhawk, in late 1941 U.S. insignia/colour scheme, with U.S. ARMY on the wing underside, U.S. on the right wing, ARMY on the left or better yet I could add the lettering on, and you can just put on the paint scheme, and insignia.

thanx whitey Grin
