Here's a scene evocotive of simpler times:

The Place: a small midwestern regional airport. A small yellow biplane sits on the ramp, a nearby sign offering the chance to dance amongst the clouds for a nominal fee:

This harkens back to my first airplane ride way back when I was a lad of 8 years. The plane was a Cessna 180 as opposed to a Tiger Moth, but the thrill was the same as the world dropped away below us.

$5 ?..............sign me up.....Last time I saw real rides like that was two yrs ago at Geneseo NY ....there was a SNJ and an AT-6 being used....Price I think was $150.00 USD for an hour and more if you wanted the performance ride(Loops, Rolls, and whatever else until you fill the bag).......
