I liked this one so much that I even did one for myself....made the sky ominous and stormy looking, like it was shot with a polarizer on the lens.........will post upon request............
Nice shots Nick ! 8)
I also looked into the plane.......I thought it was a Fleet Cannuck and was correct.....its a Fleet model 80 serial #052 built in 1946...........

Or Toronto perhaps when the smog blows up from Detroit and Cleveland.
Nice plane, where did you get it. Don't bother telling me if its payware.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

Don't kid yourself Orenda........if you go to the Toronto Polo Club and look down upon Toronto on most summer days, you'll see the reason that Toronto is affectionately called the big smoke...............they have their own smog

This was my impression of how the day could have looked after seeing the smog that Nick flew through.....
I leave your signature credit as it's your shot originally..... 8)

Hey Joker, nice shots but I think Rifleman's adjustment has made that sky pretty inviting!
Great Edit Ken... love that Deep Blue Sky!!!

Finally after all my collage stuff is done, I can respond to a few comments which have been directed my way......my intention in this one where the sky deepens to a very dark blue was to replicate the effect of using film and shooting through a polarizer. If you ever use one you will see a dark sky, minimized reflections and clouds which stand starkly in front. All this while attempting to only slightly darken the brightness of the actual A/C, although I did add yellow tips to the prop. The sun, which had been added in the first edit was not in a location which I could justify, as there is more brightness in the central area on the lower right side clouds indicating to me that it was either an early morning or a late afternoon shot ? I was also trying to help out the weatherman, who I know had on that day, forecast heavy rain showers and maybe thunderstorms
