I'm trying to do the PP check ride and the lady is really pissing me off.  I take off to 2000 ft and make the first turn to 90 deg. (east) just fine.  I even have my plane trimed close to 110 knots straight and level withought much joystick input.  Then she tells me to look with the 4 and 6 keys and make a speed turn 360 degs. to the left.  I do this as close to perfect as you can.  45 deg. bank, between 100-120 knots, and right at 2000 ft.  But when I roll out, she says that it wasn't satisfactory.  The only thing I can think of is maybe rolling in/out too fast or I'm not useing the numberpad to look before the turn (i use my hat switch).  What gets me the most is that she says at the begining that she will give me 2 attempts at each manuver, but I can only get one shot at anything.  Any clues?

I had no trouble with the ppl, I am now stuck on the commercial pilots licence.  Every time I land I hear "Good job maintaining speed, four or less deviations from heading tolerances, Good job maintaining course, four or less deviations from altitude tolerances."

AAAAARGH!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it is my accuracy on the glide path, but I may be wrong.

You are lucky then.  I've done the PPL flight dozens of times with no luck on the steep turn.  I even followed the above tips exactly, even takeing extra time to get set up for the turn.  But as soon as I roll out of it every time, that woman comes on and tells me it wasn't good enough.  You know it wouldn't hurt her too much to let me know what I did wrong.  I can't even see any problems in the light analysis.  Does she want perfection?  Not even one foot deviation on altitude?

I don't think it was luck, I just practiced steep turns until I could do them right.

Sorry to bring this back up, but after many more trys with still no luck, I was doing some more thinking.  Tipster:  You said that I can only have a certan percentage deflection of the controls.  Does that mean the game's vitual controls, or the position of my joystick handle?  In otherwords, increase/decrease my sensitivity to get the desired effect  The reason I ask this, is because I've got to where I can to it almost textbook perfect and the deflections are the only thing I can think of.  Also, what about slowing the sim rate so things don't happen as quickly?

Does anyone by any chance have a video from the cockpit view of their sucsessful PPL check ride I could view?
