What you are refering to is a jet bridge. YOu have many of them as default scenery in FS2K2, but you have to have sort of a decent setup to really enjoy it. Set all your scenery levels to max and then go to KORD (Chicago O'Hare)

Hope this helps!

Thx Andrew!

Go to AVSIM, Files Library, This Month's Hot Files...it should be the 8th one down.
Or try
http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=Root&DLID=28421

(you get two AVSIM popup widows, but the main window should have it.)

I know...I have been wanting DFW to come alive since FS4. I did find this site that has incredible payware, but you need a monster system to take advantage of it.

I agree Eric, I live 5 miles from KDFW and I have had the Simflyers since it came out, totally unflyable for me with any AI. I design scenery and started to add to it, but realised with my eye for detail I wouldn't be happy until it came out like the simflyers one! LOL.
I have tried the freeware addons, but nothing I wanted to keep. I just decided instead to redo the AFCADs to allow for full AI and all runways enabled, no gates, but lots of planes! (might have to change that if AA goes under)

I was shocked at first that one of the top ten airports in the country was so undetailed. Good news is that the new FS version will have a detailed KDFW! WOO HOO!

I know how you feel.  I used to live about 45 miles from KDFW and would at least like to have my home airport properly detailed.  I think Bangor Intl was more correct lol.  I now live about 45 miles from it and hard to believe a one runway airport is listed as an international.  Used to be a military one, so the runway can handle anything.

Hey there Mikel, yeah...I work at the airport and continue to see so many things that would be sooo cool in the sim. Are you serious that DFW will be detailed in Century Of Flight???
COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too bad about the storm this past weekend! 87 AA planes damaged and pulled out of service and 36 American Eagle planes also Out of service...including 6 of 10 CRJ-700's. Talk about bad timing...but that's Texas!

took me a bit to find it.  I had to search all catigories with  "KDFW-TK" as the only key word.  The gates aren't as good as the above pics, but it is better than nothing.  And I'm not sure about their alignment.  My jet was parked on the left of the gate, away from the door.

Hey there Phil, here's the deal. With your current setup, you should probably be able to see everything...it is just that your frame rates will probably be shot to hell. If you just want to take screenshots to post on the net or to keep, then you should have no problem. A better graphics card will improve the clarity and sharpness and give an all around nicer appearence, but you still may not get the best experience with the speed. BTW, it your 900mhz a Pentium™, AMD™ or Celeron™?
I hear that Celeron chipsets (typically below 1.2ghz) do not handle graphics all that well. Pump up all your settings then go to KORD and see what you think. If the screen is too choppy, lower your settings one by one to find a spot that will make you happy.
Good Luck.

P.S. Found the scenery....actually had it installed already and forgot about it. Leaves alot to be desired!
At least something is something.

Phil, to give you an idea of what you will get, here is my current setup.  1.2 GHz celeron, 384 MB SDRAM, no video card.  With everything maxed out, I get 8-9 FPS when I'm at the terminal.  Haven't tried to fly that yet.  But I can put everything to around medium and get 30 to 40 FPS in the air, about 20 on the ground.
