Hello mate,
I remember having that problem before, but I can't remember what caused it, from what I do remember, I think that it was something to do with the graphics card.

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

I'd like to note that the only stable drivers for all Microsoft Flight Simulators is the Nvida vers 30.42 driver set.
The vers 43 drivers tend to currupt FS2002 but work fine with CFS3
The vers 40-42 drivers tend to currupt CFS3 but work fine woth FS2002.
I'm not sure why this is but it seems to be more than just a few isolated incidents.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

I have had those problems before and the only way to fix that is by disabling the Anti-Aliasing in fs2002.
I assume you are using windows xp + sp1.
Service pack 1 is actually the cause of all this problems.
SP1 it a little B**** sometimes with the new nvidia gforce 4 cards when you have the anti-aliasing on.
I have an nvidia geforce 4 ti 4200 and ever since I installed SP1 fs2002 has not worked properly with anti-aliasing on.
Best Regards,&&Selby&&

The problem can also be fixed by adjusting the antialiasing and anospheric(sp?) perameters on the card itself. You might look into adjusting the properties on the card. If you don't like the results you can always revert it back to the defaults. I had the same issues and that is how I fixed it. The newer drivers give you better looking graphics, but your frame rates go to heck. I found the 29.42 and the 30.82 to be the best for me. But as we all know, every computer is different.
