Absolutely incredible race. It was just non-stop action, from start to finish (except during the safety car periods). I was really hoping that Fisichella would be given the win, but apparently not!
Hope Alonso is ok, he took quite a knock.

the way i interpret the rules he should have won. but hey thats the way it goes.
in some ways the pace car kept it interesting making sure the field stayed packed together
i think alonso just got a pretty bad knock on the knee but i do hope he is ok

Article 153 of the FIA sporting regulations for Formula 1:
Stopping A Race
153) Should it become necessary to stop the race because the circuit is blocked by an accident or because weather or other conditions make it dangerous to continue...(description of exact procedure of how to give a red flag).
When the signal is given to stop all cars shall immediately reduce speed in the knowledge that:
the race classification will be that at the end of the lap TWO LAPS PRIOR to that during which the signal to stop the race was given.
And Raikkonen was leading, two laps prior. Damn! Still, it was a great race to watch!

i do have to agree with the tyre rule but then again its funny in a way because it was bridgestone who were the ones complaining about the old rule and it ended up coming back and biting them in the ass.
but to be quite honest with you, these days drivers are becomming more and more touchy over the littlest of things, brazil is in my opinion the greatest race of the year because of the whole almost instant weather change there, i remember a few years back drivers like damon hill and schumacher were racing in a downpour 10 times worse than todays straight down the start finish straight and didnt make a single complaint and thats why F1 used to be interesting, and then you get these new drivers wanting to call then entire thing off because of it(yes again we go back to the tire problem and yes it is a big problem but teams knew how bad it could be so why bring the shallow treads) all i can say is today was what F1 needed. once they started racing, and rain truely sorts out who should be driving an F1 car and who shouldnt. i think the neck brace was more of a precaution because of the speed of the crash more than anything

Track inconsistencies should be all gone when hosting a race of this level, and although I am not the biggest fan, its hard to believe that MS would go out in a spin in the rain............he is clearly the best on the track and with the car he drives, I'm sure Enzo is spinning in his grave, seeing all the DNF's for Schu so far this year............too bad for all the drivers here today, and I hope all the bruises heal cleanly

I've just seen the race on TV, now this season is looking far more interesting than last years.
Have you all heard the shocking news about Dajiro Kato in the MotoGP though? I hope he pulls through and makes a full recovery.

He came off in a chicane, and he is in critical condition in hospital. He didn't bounce like a rubber ball, but rather smashed himself rather heavily. At the moment it is unknown whether he'll even come out of the coma. I hope he does, as he is a great MotoGP rider, and a great ambassador for the sport.

I heard about Koto, and that's pretty bad stuff. Let's hope he makes a full recovery.
Alonso seems to be ok, thankfully, despite hitting the inside barrier almost head-on.
Did you see how many people went off at turn 3? Schumacher M, Button, Wilson, Montoya, Pizzonia....Webber managed to collect it all up, though! Still, it was really slippery down there, but surprising to see even Michael Schumacher hit the wall.
I just had to watch the highlights again tonight....

That traction control ruling was supposed to come in at Silverstone, in July. But unfortunately they've put it back until next year, so that awful traction control sound will be around for a while yet!

the elder drivers ,such as Schumacher, Frentzen ,Villeneuve,Panis,etc... will have a REAL advantage ,'cause they know how to drive without those driving aids.
