Here's a shot of my Firefox approaching Bagdad 500 feet or so above the deck and getting ready to drop some 2000 megaton rain on Saddam's parade:

Hey Cub, I'm sure this is a nice picture but I'm afraid all I can see is a green light, 2 stars and a bit of "Crazy Paving", could be my monitor settings though.
This is something I have wondered about in the past. What my pictures look like to people who have their graphics set up a little different, or have better or worse video cards.

Joker, after all the "name Mentioning" I do for you, you actually respond to a post that is dark ? ???
Rifle-man and I had a nice conversation going on over in the thread, "Re-Naming".
Here is the link:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=cafe;action=display;num=10...
I think that both You and Ramsa have some of the best pictures out there.
Actually,....I used to post responses to Ramsa for quite a while, I even gave links to his threads.... never even once responded..!

No offense Rifleman but I actually like that Andrew "nice Pic" Esselbach actually responds to pics I post.
I would rather know that somebody is looking at my work rather than see 20 views and no responses!
Fly did you miss my second post in this thread, ?

I feel much the same as you and when I see 60 views and nobody saying anything, it makes me feel like I need to give up this silly game I play where I try to put my own feelings into someone elses ideas...........OH Well ..........

In the big picture though, half the part of enjoying ART, is to view it, take it in, and some times leave it there.....to yourself. All our freinds in the Graphic Forums appreciate what All Of Us Do. It is a different side of the "Aviation Industry" that we all enjoy.

I'm not quite sure how I got involved in this.
Whether I do or do not respond to a post is my decision and it hasn't got anything to do with a persons personality or whether they respond to my posts or not.
I don't keep some kind of "scorecard of responses".
I've seen people responding to shots on this forum even when there's no picture at all or it's so dark you can't see a thing.
In my mind this is both dishonest and smacks of some kind of liberal "as long as you're trying mentality".
And in my opinion lying to someone does no good at all it just promotes more lack of awareness and more brain pollution.

Finally, a response from Ramsa!!
Ramsa I understand what your saying. I just see your postings around the graphic gallery so often of "really good shots". I have acknowledged them many times, mentioned them to others and I have never heard any response. I know that it is totally up to the user to respond or not to respond. I have always enjoyed your photos, I think they are some of the best around these forums. You also seem to find some really interesting aircraft. I was just trying to get some feedback from you. Sorry if I offended you. I even e-mailed you an F-14 Tocat with a Ramsa Audio Speaker next to it, I though you might have enjoyed it. Well, like I said, I respect your views, I still enjoy looking at your photos, I was just trying to "communicate" alittle since we have the same interest in photos and aviation..... but I guess thats the thing about the internet, you talk to who you want and that's the extent of it.
No hard feelings Ramsa, I guess I should practice what I preach!

Hey Fly,
No offence taken.
The reason I don't always respond to posts is due to time and a poor connection. Most nights I will pop into the forum to check out new posts but don't have the time to reply to every one. I would much rather enjoy all the new pictures instead of viewing a couple, replying and then logging off.
I do understand that it is nice to have a response to a post (no matter how short), who doesn't, but untill I finish my present contract mine will be limited to just a few.
All the best.....
