Just bought forgotten battles yesterday and its frickin awesome. I love the b239 its sooooooo nice. Here is my first campaign mission in the finnish airforce.
Isn't it the most beutiful sight ever created in a flightsim.
The cockpits are amazing as well.
The best looking water I've seen in a long while.
Heres what we are up against Pe-8's 4 of us against 5 of them who do you think won.
Unfortunately them but I managed to glide back to my airfield when my engine got shot up. The landing gear didn't hold though
.
It kicks the shi* out of cfs3 feels more like your more on the edge pushing your machine to braking point rather that flying an arcade machine on steroids.

indeed,an awesome game!
but i won't buy it,'cause i have IL-2 and there's a nice dynamic campaign creator for it.
p.s: the pe8s are better than B-17. no chance against 'em in a Bf-109f-2!

Even if you got il-2 its worth getting cause it improves upon it in many ways it may be expensive but well worth it.

when i look at those screenshots, i think: "yes it's worth buying". but when i think about it for a longer time, i'm sure that i don't need it. i'm not playing Il-2 too often and those WW-2 sims are all the same.

Your choice mate and I guess if you didn't enjoy the first much then you wouldn't get much out it. Its more of the same MUCH MORE and that means I'm in heaven.
Yeah its the buffalo and I love it. Wouldn't mind an RAF repaint though.
I also found out if you fly at about 20ft above water at high speed and drop your bombs they skip and bounce across the surface meaning for some outragously cool anti shipping scenarios

okay,you've got the physics in the game,now you need: a lancaster, a roll-bomb and,of course a dam!

I know I already thought of that but the fan base seems pretty reluctant to acually implement any western add ons.

Nice shots there Crumbso, but I think I'll stay with CFS3, as I've got that running sweet on my rig.

Great shots Crumbso.
I install IL2 about once every 4 months, play it for about 1 afternoon and then uninstall, I just can't seem to build up the enthusiasm for it, I think I am stuck in the M$ rut. CFS1 and FS2002 are the most used on my PC.
CFS3 would be often run if only I could get it to load again!! I love those bomb runs in multiplay with my CFS1 pals manning the weapons as I scare the pants off them hugging the ground and performing barrel rolls
I guess by the time I get it active again there will be many playing it in multiplayer, but at least I can say I was there when you could count the amount of people on both hands
