I hit somthing this morning in my little Metro
...
Thankfully it was only the kerb but i was going around 30mph so it completely destroyed the two right wheels
Me and the rest of the car are fine.
A rabbit or small cat or somthing ran infront of me as i was passing a pedestrian crossing thing. Sweverd and forgot about the island, im glad i missed the streetlights.
Bloody small rodent / feline type creatures!
Next time im going to run the little fucker over! its cost me £30 to get 2 new wheels and tires, and they dont feel right yet.
Has anyone else had anything similar happen to them?

I've had a small cruise to run the new wheels in and i think the track needs ballancing. Its not nice having your steering wheel about 3 degrees to the left and still going stright.
God knows how much it'll cost.

Once about a year ago I was coming home from school and I went around a corner (a little to fast), my wheels spunn, and I lost control of the car. I swerved into the oncoming lane twice until I finally hit the curb head on and jumped over it onto the sidewalk. I didn't damage the tires!!!! All that happened was the front alignment was off and one of the fenders was slightly missaligned. I was schoked at the minimal damage because Camaro's aren't designed for jumping over curbs.

My rule of thumb for 4-legged creatures in the street: If it'll fit under the bumper then I ain't swervin.
