I have the CFS2 default Avenger in FS2002, and I was wondering if someone could tell me how to add strobe lights to the wingtips.  If you look at the TBF model, you can actually see where the strobes belong.....at the front edge of each wing tip.  Any help would be appreciated.

i'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with the light effects in the cfg file

I'm assuming you're talking about using this aircraft in FS2002.

I've never worked on a CFS2 aircraft, but if they're the same as FS2002, here's what you'll want:

Scroll down the aircraft.cfg file until you reach the [Lights] section.

Add 2 lines like this:

light.x=2,  -6.63,  19.29,  0.79, fx_strobe ,
light.y=2,  -6.63, -19.29,  0.79, fx_strobe ,

x and y are the next free numbers after the ones already in use in that section.

The central number represents the distance from the centre of the fuselage going + and - for left and right.

The other 2 numbers are the height form the centre of the plane and the distance forward or backward. Can't remember which are which off hand (I think the last number is the height) but experiment - you'll soon work it out.
