Sad I just upgraded the B1b Feedback file. and it seems that the B1b is not performing to well and is having issues.

1. The engines don't have enough thrust in them to give the plane the umph it needs to clear an extended runway. Clocking 135 knots by the time it reached the end of an extended runway (for example Mc Guire AFB) it over shot the runway and needed extra road in the feilds for it to take off.

2. The engine thrusts guages showed that engine 4 only was receiving full power, while 1 and 3 was getting a little over 3/4 of power and engine 2 was receiving a little under 3/4 of power.

3. I am getting gas vapors from the afterburners instead of the afterburn flames effect. Why  ???!

4. Give the gears up command and only the front gears go up. Why does the rear gear stay down?

Once these issues have been resolved I will give this aircraft a full thumbs up. Right now it get an inbetween vote from me (Only because the plane looks great Grin). The aircraft dynamics suck Angry! I can't do any better but I don't see the same issue with other aircrafts.

Hmmm should I switch aircraft CFG and Airfiles with the Posky C-17 and dump the originals for this plane! Shocked
Be nice if that would work but I will see what goes down with this planes designers before I mess up my whole game!

Your system has some problems if its with the engines, it has no trouble taking off in less than 10000 feet. All the gears work. You may have a corrupted version, redownload it. Also the full update comes next saturday. I've been flying this B-1B since before it was released, never had any of these problems people are complaining about.

Would you guys mind giving us a review after you get the final version?  I considered downloading it but I have about 20 things in my download directory waiting to be installed and the manual said it produced less than optimal frame rates.

Tipster mentioned swapping the .cfg and .air files and I think that would help with handling problems.  You would need to do some editing of the .cfg file, though.

I have an excellent B2 from http://www.rogernet.it/fsim/military/. ; It is a pleasure to fly and it has a killer panel.  I'm sure the .cfg and .air files from that one would help, too.

I can't find the link to the main page but it's in the pdf manual.  If you have the link I can probably tell you what page it's on.

I had a problem with the landing gear not retracting. It was pointed out to me that I might have exceded the speed limit for the landing gear in the down position. In other words I broke my gear. I now retract the gear a few seconds after clearing the ground.
