There are some interesting handles here. How and why did you choose yours? Just to be fair, I'll start.
My business is called Webb, P.A. (Professional Association). Every time I tried to establish an account I found every conceivable variation on Webb was taken. Since I started using WebbPA I have had no problems anywhere.
Not very exciting, I admit.

i chose mine using the two method system. the cragie part comes from my nickname along with crag. and the y2 part comes from the fact i am a fan of wrestling and more so of chris jericho, who used to go by the nickname Y2J a few years back, which is where i got the idea from back then and been using it ever since for emails or forums and version1 comes from me being me version 1:)

Well Bman VR could be Virtual Reality, Very Radiant, Vespa Radial.... The choices are endless.
Mine is obvious, since the dawn of time all Osbornes have become Ozzy (various spellings of both), so my handle has always been this (except for a brief spell as the Milky Bar Kid, and I'm NOT explaining that!)
Ozzy

Mine is my old Special Forces LRRP team call sign.
Romulus- Roman mythology (team leader-E-8 MSG)
1- 1st Battalion
11- 11 Infantry
VA- Recon team Virginia (Victor-Alpha)
DT- Delta Team (Delta-Tango)
My team members had different beginning names...but the last was always the same. Like my spotter (and best friend) was Remis111VADT.

Well. I was brainstorming oneday when signing up to a forum and I was going to have "logistical albatross" but my friend took it before I had the chance to change it. So I then chose Woodlouse2001. Then at the beggining of the year 2K2 I changed it to Woodlouse2002. I have no plans to make it Woodlouse2003 as that would be silly.
P.s. I always thought that Bmans had the same sort of origins as Rommys as Bman was a Navy pilot... Oh well...
P.p.s Rommy is Delta team the same as Delta Force? Or just a part of the Green Berets?

No the Delta Force is a totally different part of the Special Forces...but similar in many ways. Delta Teams were involved in some pretty covert stuff and I really can't elaborate to much on our missions as many are still classified under the CIA top secret designation.
They are primarily used during war time and the enemy typically don't like them much...

73/74- which should really confuse most history buffs. The history books all say the US pulled out of Vietnam in 1973. Most people don't realize that we maintained a presents there until May 1975. Even thought many units technically "pulled out" in 1973...the US maintained a presents there militarily speaking until the embassy fell. Many Special Operation forces were there until the evacuation of the embassy. Which is what cracks me up about the history books claiming we left in 1973 and then turn around and show the helicopter evacuation to US Naval ships in 1975.
