Hello All,

Last night I took my Baron out for a flight over the Rocky Mountains and I tried using Active Camera Pro to view the plane from the wing tip.
Well after that whenever I tried to do a view from the Chase View all the colors were smugging together...

It seemed to be working fine before I tried using active camera pro to look around while in flight.

I have a Nvedia GeForce2 64 meg video card and my display settings were set to 1024x768 x32.

I just upgraded my video drivers so that I could run FS2002 in 1024X768 size. Before I had to keep it at 800x600 if otherwise I could not get my ALT menu to appear during a flight.

Anyone have any ideas or any tests I can run on my video card to make sure its running ok???

Thanks

Hey Cherokee,

I have seen this before with my old PC. I do not know what it is. I have an Active Camera question. I have the same version and when I want to "walk around the plane or around the outside", the view puts me under the aircraft and thats it. I have a wheel on my mouse and my system has more than enough power to handle this little add-on! I have read the Active Camera "Notepad" and followed the directions for this but can't walk around the plane. The wheel works for zooming and fly-bye works. Any suggestions? Thanks

Mate, it's a memory problem as far as I know, I get it all the time, that's why I never use the external pilot's view, or it's a serious bug in the active camera module.  Try lowering your resolution.  It might help.

Fly2e, the active camera comes with a notepad file called active camera pro, go back to your downloaded zip file and have a look, it has this in it:

[Keyboard]

ToggleMouseLook=MOUSE_BUTTON_2,DOUBLE
ToggleMouseLook=F12
ToggleHeadLatency=F7,CONTROL
ToggleGroundTurbulence=F8,CONTROL

PilotForward=NUMPAD_8,DOUBLE
PilotBackward=NUMPAD_2,DOUBLE
PilotStepRight=NUMPAD_6,DOUBLE
PilotStepLeft=NUMPAD_4,DOUBLE
PilotHeadRight=NUMPAD_9,DOUBLE
PilotHeadLeft=NUMPAD_7,DOUBLE
PilotHeadUp=PAGE_UP,CONTROL,DOUBLE
PilotHeadDown=PAGE_DOWN,CONTROL,DOUBLE
PilotCrouch=NUMPAD_0,DOUBLE
PilotUp=HOME,CONTROL,DOUBLE
PilotDown=END,CONTROL,DOUBLE

If you don't have it,  open up notepad, paste this into it, then save it as ActiveCamera Pro, exactly.  Then place it into the FS2002 folder.  That's it.  And when you have the external and internal views switched on, use the num pad arrows to move around.

Cheers,
Greg
