Hello, this is basically a copy of my last post because I had put it in the wrong forum! 

I'm a newb when it comes to making planes for FS2002, but not 3d modeling.

Anyway, I want to export the .mdl files 
   (FS2002's 3d models) 
to another more useable format (example: .3ds).

I have a program to create .mdl's for FS2002, but I want to export the standard .mdls first to get an idea of how they work. 

I have tried some programs like 3dWin4 but when I try to import a FS2002 .mdl it just comes in blank. 

PS. does anyone know if i can download the FS2002 pack for GMax (I don't have the Pro edition).
