Aviar has a reworked USN campaign.  It's similar to the default, but plays out better.  There's two versions, one you need to take-off, the othe ryou start in the air.

http://www.netwings.org/library/Missions/Campaigns/index-4.html

87 days is good if you want an excuse to fly the non-flyables.  I keep hearing good things about the Fleet Air Arm Swordfish campaign.  I've downloaded it, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.  Both on this page:

I heard in the PC pilot magazine of a  Pearl Harbor mission pack which you get the p-40, and also a korean war mission pack when you get jets.  These are missions you have buy in the store though; but i am not sure if or when it will come out in the US.

If you want something a little different, I did a short campaign (8 missions) based on the PBY-5 BlackCat operations in the Solomons. It's available at http://www.sim-outhouse.com

Here's a list of the Campaigns I have enjoyed so far

the Polish 1939 Campaign
Defence of Australia (Both Sides)
Operation MI (Mini Campaign about the battle of Midway from a Japanese perspective)
Operation Victor: Invasion of the Phillipines
Operation Iceberg: Battle of Okinawa
Operation Forager: Battle of the Marianas

That's about it for now, I'm not too good with computer stuff.

Chunkey there are a thousand missions and campaigns to down loud thrus many Websites thanks to many generous members.

But I highly recommed you also learn to use the Mission Builder as well. That way you can start building your own missions and campaigns.

To me thats the Heart of this game. Thats when you will start to really appreciate what a good flight simulator program CFS2 really is.

I will give you some Websites address that will help you  start down louding good missions and campaing.

I have been wondering how many of you will stay loyal to CFS2 since Pacific Fighter has been release. Do you really think CFS2 can hang around much longer or will you guys start wandering away like we have from CFS1. I hope not . Pacific Fighter might be terrific Simulator but it will never replace CFS2.  Iam not discouraging anyone  from puchasing PT . I for one have preorder one copy for myself. So thats not my objective in writing this post.  My objective is to remind everyone  how flexible this Simulator is and how great it has become with improvements made thru the  community. This is the only Simulator that can Simulate flying from WWI to the Korea war. Its the only Sim with a World Map. You could Fly around the World thru Free Flght and unlimited Fuel. With all Sceneries available thru all downloads it would be enjoyale flight. Is the only Sim that allow you to include Hundreds of plane of different Eras to fly in the same Sim. You can add Sceneries ,Missions, Campaings or create your own Missions with the Mission Builder. Their is also a Web site where you add Dynamic Missions to the game. This is a Great Simulator with out a question. Now let me give you some of tips on how to improve your Experience with this Simulator.

I f You want planes to  downloaded you can download them from this Websites and others.
1: www. Simviation.com
2: www.Sim-outhouse.com/.
3: www.Simnetwork.com/
4: www.netwings.org
If you want some the best German plane especially Bf109 this is of one of the best site I have found.
http://myzone59.ath.cx/accueil.php3
Now for some the of the best Japanese plane available this a nice Web site.
http://hago003.hp.Infoseek.co.jp/index.html
For Texure. I found some seasonal Texure for Europe in Simnetwork.com in the Scenery section that sre prertty cool.
You can also download very good Italian planes from this Web site:

if you want to edit your missions and campaings. Here is very good Utility that I highly recommend at Sim-outhouse.com  . Its call Mks_cfs_utility.v2 . This ulity not allows you change you plane in your mission and camp folders but also help you create different hangers for different theaters of war for you quick missions builder.

1.http://www.combatfs.com/index.php?loc=downloads&page=downloads&FileType=cfs2-uti...

Another Utility that I highly recommend is call CFO Weather . With this utility you can change the weather of every Mission as you fly thruough it . It also has a Auto pilot program that is very neat. It has many other features not avalable before. One is a no cheat mode that does not allow you to cheat out of the cockpit. Another thing I discover the other day is that if you have other installs representing different theater of war. You can use the MB of each new install thru this program. You can find this program at.
http://www.caw15.com

Another Utility I recommend is to download Co man

utillity from: http://fly.to/mwgfx

This utility will allow you to install aircraft into 18 different Hangars. Just a word of advice is to always place the original stock planes in every Hanger. Other wise the program will not work properly.
Once you use all the Hangers. You could create your own Hangars and place them on the Aircraft folder whenever you want to use them. I recommend you use the program first before you try to create your own Hangars because it much easier to change Hangers thru it. All you need is name them acording to what Theater of War war you want use ti in. Its real easy.

Another Wbsite that real cool its: www.absquad.net
In this Website you get most of the Upgrade and Utilities you may need ti improve  CFS2. The best thing about it is that they all come with self Instalators. So you do not have to worry where to install them.

Another obtion in playing this game its that you can played in a Dynamic Mission and Campaing format if you want to. You can get the dynamic Campaing at :
http://members.shaw.ca/dcgen/

Another thing I found is a great European Scenary at :
www.mlk-airbase.wz.cz/msfs/scenery/texture_swap.html

More Upgrades can bee found at :
http://theghostfiles.org/
and at
http://web.tiscali.it/jobim/cfs2/

You sure were helpful James, and I really appreciated it and am grateful to you.

As for that Pacific Fighter, I don't even know if I'll buy it, sure I've got a new computer on the way in but it won't be here until at least September 2005.

I stayed loyal to CFS1 btw, I still have my copy right here installed in my current computer.

CFS2 is really a classic for staying on for that long imho and for having a truck load of add ons, I love classics.

My current comp could never handle the newest games so I use older ones instead and save up money until I can buy a stronger computer.

I might consider trying out Pacific Fighter if my new Computer can handle me and if I'm pleased with what I hear of it but I don't think it will ever replace CFS2

I was also thinking of starting to build up my own Campaing when my new Computer would arrive but it might be too little, too late I'm afraid.

Androcle your more than welcome. Thank you for appreciating my advice.

We are here to help each other . Some day you will help me as well.

I recomend you update your PC if you can and Buy Pacific Fighter as well. Its not a bad program. Thats not my point . But in my humble opinion it will not replace CFS2 but only enhence our Pacific Air war experience.

Its never to late to learn. I will post for you where to get a Book that I think is the best in demostrating on how to Build missions throuth the Mission Builder.

There is another Gentelman who I think his post is Coyoty that is very good in showing us on how to build mission through the MB.

Once you learn to build missions, than you will see what a great combat simulator CFS2 really is.

Enjoy and Good Hunting

If you would like to stay in Papua New Guinea, you could try my Milne Bay campaign.
It is using the best CSF2 add-ons and enhancements available, very immersive and historically accurate.
It is available at Simaviation, CFSFrance and Simouthouse.

Please note that due to the complexity of the campaign, the installation process can be a bit painful, but I'll help you if you need to.
