have you ever done an internatinal flight and wish the flight plane was strait so you don`t have to keep changing heading hold?i have a simple answer.on the autopilot area atctivate NAV hold.then,somewhere on the panel is a nav/gps switch.make sure it is switched to gps.set your cruise alt and speed so you don`t go overspeed and burn too much fuel.then switch the master autopilot switch on and fly away.
&&and yet i cant say it in the chat room:P&&&&

You have got to be kidding me.
You didn't know that?
I ahve one problem with FS2002 autopilot. Whenever I start an approach, I turn the autopilot completely off, FD and
everything
. I set Vertical speed back to 0, turn all the switches off, but then...
When I try to pitch the nose down, the trim goes upward. And when I try to readjust the trim, it still keeps going upward. This can make for a very interesting landing. In fact, sometimes I have to stall the aircraft in a flare to keep it from lifting back off the runway!

The reason that is happening SFMM, is that the autopilot isn't completely turned off... If you are using an
add-on aircraft
, make sure the following two lines are pasted under the
autopilot
section of the .cfg file...
use_no_default_pitch=1
use_no_default_bank=1
and this should cure the problem!!! The other thing is... When flying a
real
airplane, at touch-down... the stall warning horn should be sounding!!! So, your flare seems to be right!

It doesn't work for me. If I used NAV Hold and flying straight, my plane got pushed to the right, out of the green line, although wind speed is 0 (At least, global). I have to fly 10 degrees to the left just to put it straight up. Oh yeah, I used Real World Weather feature.

, if you downloaded real time weather, and the winds-a-loft box is checked... there will surely be winds at altitude... To check to see if there are, hit SHIFT+Z... this displays a lot of things (frame rates, etc) and at the end of the top, first line... it displays wind direction and speed.
