I am working on a new design and as what happens all to frequently with me in aircraft designing....I got a little to creative for my own good.

Started designing an asymmetrical single electric UAV.

My question is, does anyone have any good sources for info on designing an asymmetric aircraft?

Yes I have studied the Bv141 and Boomerang.

This is the sort of crap that happens when you start talking with folks at Scaled... Grin

Just wondering how you got interested in Asymmetrical UAV unmanned I am assuming, was it military, or schooling, or just a hobby.

I don't think much of a man that doesn't learn something new everyday.

Certainly the asymmetrical design of the Bv-141 aided an unimpeded view out of the green house canopy. The Boomerang to was to build a twin with benign asymmetric handling.

Can't see why you'd need either in an RPAS/UAV. Smiley
