Ya know what gets me, these "doomsday preppers", they put all there money in these

"Under Ground" bunkers. What they fail to consider is, well.. if an astoroid hits, they

will be buried alive. If we have these floods they been talking about, they could be under

hundreds of feet of water. Either way, it could end up being there tomb!

Oh, and this whole Dec.21 date thing, Did the Mayan's include leap-years in there

Calendar? Huh

No, they were using the old lunar calendar. I believe this was changed in the 1500's.  Undecided

Could this be what they predicted?
Since alot of asteriods are in orbits and the mayans have existed for a long time maybe they held records of it and somehow noticed a patern and thought it was a sign of the end of the world?

I don't know.. I think it would be kind of an honer to die as a result
of an "Extinction Level Event".

One of the biggest fears about dieing is that you go on that journey
all by your self.. all alone.

Somehow it don't seem so bad if everyone is going at the same time.

Hey!.. I'll have all you guys to keep me company!  Smiley.. Smiley

See.. it's already looking up! Grin I'm glad I could put your minds at ease.

From my understanding, this is only supposed to end the current 'cycle' of the world (nor was this the first cycle); since the script ends with no further ado, we've no idea of another cycle. We might also bear in mind that the vast majority of Mayan writings were intentionally destroyed centuries ago. As to whether or not they had any prediction of the Spanish invasion, who knows; the Aztecs believed they, themselves, had so predicted the white intruders with the arrival of Quetzelcoatl Cortez -- oh, my (white) God!
As to those you've mentioned that claim to be of certain affiliation, their own 'written source' disclaims having such knowledge of the event. Similarly, science indicates that the world, as we know it, will end... sometime...

Cool
