...anyone know the particular entry in the aircraft.cfg file that deals with the speed at which ones wings starts to "wobble" (overspeed!)...?
(Something to do with overstress).
I would just like to tweak her a little (cheat!) to prevent her from rattling my teeth at speeds exceeding 60 knots!... Roll Eyes

In aircraft.cfg > flight tuning > parasite drag scalar:

If you lower the number (for ex, to 0.4), the top speed will increase. Too low (too fast), and the aircraft, or in this case, ultralight, will wooble or vibrate. For this particular model, the increase in speed is not that great.

If you raise the number, the top speed will decrease.

The default setting is 1.0. There is a flight tuning section in this trike model. In absense of a flight tuning section, the model defaults to 1.0 for each flight tuning parameter.

You have to experiment to get it right.

....I wouldn't have thought of that entry...

With a setting of 0.2 she can now be coaxed up to 80+ knots with care, but she is most happiest at 60 knots cruise (max design speed)..

Still, with a bit of a wobble now and again, I can make my way home a bit quicker now, before it gets too dark!...(VFR Licence)... Wink

I often also mod the elevator_effectivness & aileron_effectiveness for better flying; the lower the number, the tighter the elevator or aileron.
