Good day all!
After downloading and installing Eugene Douglas's beautiful B 757 there is no HSI showing in the instrument panel.
Only a blue screen is visible where the HSI image should be....
Am I doing something wrong?
Undecided

Did you get all of the gauges from the .zip file transferred into the Gauges folder in your main directory? You should have both a 2D and 3D (VC) panel. Does the EHSI show up in one or the other, or are both panels affected? Are there any other gauges which seem affected?

Well I just tried this plane and not only is the HSI not working but the whole VC is not working.......if I didn't know any better I'd say this plane must have come from Posky.......?     Roll Eyes

From README.txt

Huge thanks to:
--Project Opensky for providing the outstanding 757 base package
--Ken Mitchell for providing the great 2D panel
--Wilhelm Hudetz for the excellent VC panel merge
--Emil Serafino for the wonderful RB211 sounds

Sorry Hagar......I guess I wasnt very clear, I completely understood that this was a Posky plane.....I was just being a smart-a$$ about yet ANOTHER posky plane that fails to work (out of the box) as advertised......I followed the rather short and vague install instructions and............nothin!! no VC   Cry......and no HSI in 2D
Why can't they just release their projects ready to use?  Cheesy

No problem. I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic. Wink

I tried it in FS9. The VC works fine although none of the gauges are clickable. You have to select the correct version of the aircraft.

I discovered that at least one gauge is missing which is the cause of the original problem. The file name is 757multi.cab. I found it in another 757 package.

I’ve noticed a number of people having problems with the panel on this plane. It has worked flawlessly for me, so I am at a loss to explain the problems others are having. As stated in the README file, the plane is by POSky, the panel is by Ken Mitchell and the VC is a merge of Ken’s panel with the POSky VC model done by Wilhelm Hudetz. All I did was combine these files into one download. All of the gauges included with the original files are included in the Ryan_757-200.zip file. If you are one of the ones still having problems, you might try going here (FS2004 Boeing 757 Panel.) and downloading the original panel and reinstalling it. The panel merge came off of Flightsim.com. Shouldn’t make a difference, since he used Ken Mitchell’s gauges, but might also be worth a shot. Just put [Hudetz, 757] in the search field. Hope this helps.

I investigated the reported problem & posted my findings in my previous reply. At least one gauge is missing from Ryan_757-200.zip. One is named 757multi.cab. This is not included with the separate panel from your link either.

I've pasted the relevant Panel.cfg entries below. I've highlighted the missing gauge.

A 747 was halfway across the Atlantic when the captain got on the loud speaker, "Attention, passengers. We have lost one of our engines, but we can certainly reach London with the three we have left. Unfortunately, we will arrive an hour late as a r esult." http://www.mmomesos.com
Shortly thereafter, the passengers heard the captain's voice again, "Guess what, folks. We just lost our third engine, but please be assured we can fly with only one. We will now arrive in London three hours late."

At this point, one passenger became furious. "For Pete's sake," he shouted, "If we lose another engine, we'll be up here all night!" http://www.mmohome.com
