My laptop was sent off by the Geek Squad to a HP service center, my concern now is what the heck are those idiots going to do with it?!

Anyone deal with a service center before?

They send it back when it is fixed. Being an IT Engineer myself I always do my own repairs as it is quicker and cheaper. Just finished getting another laptop back together. I'll put Windows and stuff on it tomorrow....

It isn't the service center you need to worry about. The Geek Squad will do their very best to make sure nothing gets done correctly. Made that mistake before. Once bitten as they say.

They have been very helpful for my wife, dad, and myself thus far....my only concern related to the Geek Squad folks is if they understood what I requested be backed up before my laptop left for the service center! I REALLY hope the Geeks understand just how much time I put into gathering addon aircraft, tweaking them, and installing them. I seriously have weeks worth of effort put into FS9 and FSX including all the time spent looking for addons.
