Well it finally happened to me, my system burned up due to the persistent heat here in the midwest US. Im expecting a month until I am back in the virtual skies, if it was not for Oshkosh coming up at the end of the month I would be really really upset!

Know the feeling, I specifically set up my back porch area thats enclosed just for me and computers, has a ceiling fan, a Floor Fan, and an 18000btu Airconditioner which will drop it down to 60* on a hott 110* degree day,, and I clean the coils on it every month washing them out and the filter. I do the same for the Central Air unit that cools the main part of the house too !!!  right now at 8:50pm 7/4/2012 the temp is 97* outside, its 64* inside where where I'm at now tho  Smiley Smiley Cool Cool Shocked...

The day my laptop fried (Independence Day) it reached 98 here in Portage, MI. Bad part is it has been consistently reaching this for a week now with no signs of change. The heat index went over 104*F on the 4th too.
Good thing is I bought a 2yr warrant for it..funny part is that expires in less than 20 days!  Grin
In the mean time, 0 sims, 0 Total War, 0 World of Tanks, and I can only get on here for a short time in the early morning before work.

So here I sit, burning up waiting for Oshkosh...18days 3 hrs 31 minutes and 00seconds
