Does anyone have a battery caddy for a Toshiba Satellite 1400 laptop?
I can't find one anywhere in the UK! Toshiba part number P000348030. Not even FleaBay....
Just I'm repairing a laptop for a local charity and the caddy is knackered and causing the battery to short (not good).

Tried a lot of American sites and the shipping fees make one cost more than the laptop is worth, but thanks for trying to help Jetranger, much appreciated Wink

Jetranger, you're a legend mate. I have now got the part en route to me courtesy of an old mate on Facebook who found one that had had the "mouse chewing experience" in his loft. So I've got the part and he's finally agreed to throw out the old junk laptop.
His wife is happy, I'm happy, the barman will be happy when I buy Allan a pint or two as a thank you.
The world is a happy place Cool I've also got my old Toshiba notebook back together, she just needs a new HDD to replace the fried one (cost of replacement plastics, £1.98 on eBay).
All in all I'm having a good day repairing stuff (pity about the car tyre, £229!!!!)
